FAQs

Membership is generally limited to our neighbors living in the neighborhoods around the pool like West Royal Haven, Park Forest and Royal Hills, which is an area bounded by Forest Lane, Marsh Lane, Royal Lane and Webb Chapel Rd. Residents that live outside these neighborhoods are welcome to apply to the Board for a membership based on factors like, close relatives are members of the pool, your residence is near the boundaries, you have been a member or supporter who moved to another area. The Board can consider these and other factors for your membership. It is important to join early in the season because memberships may be limited if the Board determines the capacity of the pool has been reached.

Family (up to 6 members of a household) – $465

(optional to add additional family members at $50 per person)

Couple (2 people only) – $340

Single – $280

The main pool is 75-ft long with a diving board. There is also a shallow pool for babies and toddlers, a covered picnic pavilion, barbecue grills, plenty of tables, chairs and lounges, a play area, as well as on-site restrooms.

Water chemistry is verified twice daily all season. If chemicals are added, the pool will be cleared and signage will indicate the time at which swimming can resume.

Members receive a four-digit code to operate the gate. Sharing gate codes with non-members is cause for a revoked membership. Gate code changes will be communicated to members at various times throughout the season. Always ensure the gate closes and locks behind you as there is no full-time staff on duty to secure the club. Members must always sign-in every time they visit the pool.

Club Royal members may bring guests for a $5 fee per guest. Guests must always be accompanied by a member and recorded using the sign-in.

Club Royal hires lifeguards for large parties, private events, and certain club activities by request, and we try to staff lifeguards during the busiest parts of the day, especially on weekends. However, there are some hours when no lifeguard is on duty during day-to-day swimming. Children should always be accompanied by an adult. Lifeguard staffing levels vary based on membership numbers and activism.

Club Royal will be offering swim lessons during our 2025 season! More info coming soon!
